Description:The Regional Sales Specialist’s (RSS) primary responsibilities are to develop and successfully execute sales strategies to ensure achievement of unit volume and revenue goals for multi-omic services by focusing on strategic selling opportunities of PreludeDx products (i.e. DCISionRT, etc.) within an assigned territory.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify, target, educate and manage accounts in the assigned territory including breast surgeons, radiation oncologists, oncologists, hospitals and pathology groups, on PreludeDx cancer products and servicesAnalyze the designated territory to understand prescribing and purchasing decision processes and any marked differences from national trendsDrive new oncology business, maintain customer relationships and exceed sales goalsAchieve and exceed sales forecasts and targetsParticipate in organizing and facilitating meetings for the exchange of medical and product information in line with the company’s policies, regulatory and legal requirementsRepresent the company at trade shows, attend company meetings, training programs and functions as neededRecognize changes in the work environment, develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives, modify call plan/business plans and activities as neededSupport company sales strategy and contribute in fostering a team environmentPresent a positive and professional image, and ensure activities are consistent with and enhance the company’s ethical marketing policies and proceduresTravel independently throughout defined territory to drive oncology salesDevelop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)Provide ongoing communication to manager regarding business opportunities and issuesMaintain database of customers and targetsPresent at quarterly sales meetingsWork closely with marketing team on territory market trends, competitive threats and new testing opportunitiesFollow all PreludeDx safety policies and proceduresPerform Company business in accordance with all regulatory and company policy and procedures (if violations are noted/observed they are to be immediately reported to management)Demonstrate high ethical and professional standardsProvide consistent, timely and complete administrative duties and responsibilities.Complete all expense reports, call reports, and communications effectively and on timePerform other related duties as required or assignedThe above listing represents the general duties considered essential functions of the job and is not to be considered a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree5 years field sales experience in the diagnostics, breast surgery, radiation oncology, oncology, lab services, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other related industryExperience with breast cancer diagnostics, breast surgery and breast radiation oncology preferredHistory of meeting and exceeding sales targetsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
