About the Position:
This will be part time 20 hours a week with the possibility of adding hours in the future. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) at Prelude, you will be a part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team that cares deeply about our clients and our communities. You will work either with our adult program or with our FBT-informed adolescent program serving clients 13 and up and their families. You are responsible for all nutrition and food-related aspects of a client’s care within our Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorder Program as well as our Structured Outpatient Program. You will work with therapists to develop and implement each client’s individual plan. Prelude’s structured programs will be conducted in the late afternoon and evenings Monday through Thursday. Dietitians will schedule individual and family sessions with clients outside of those hours.

Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive eating disorder nutrition assessments and follow up consults
- Develop a plan of care based on assessment findings and client goals
- Facilitate 4-6 groups/week
- Create individualized care plans, including meal plans, behavior change skills and nutrition education resources
- Provide meal support sessions, grocery store support, and food exposures, including eating meals with clients in a group setting
- Design and provide experiential cooking and food exposure sessions.
- Demonstrate leadership in assuring quality of programing including curriculum development and group implementation.
- Manage schedule and caseload
- Familiarity with treatment modalities including but not limited to DBT, CBT, FBT, ACT.
- Document in the EHR all assessments, counseling and education services, referrals, and follow-ups in the client’s clinical record within 48 hours of service
- Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
- Utilize a multi-disciplinary team approach for the care and treatment of clients
- Utilize between-session messaging to support clients and communicate with the treatment team through Prelude’s EHR system
- Participate in weekly supervision and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
- Comply with organizational, state and federal guidelines & all regulatory agency policies and procedures
- Maintain ethical practices established by the APA and AND
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree (higher degree preferred) in Nutrition
- State license (or license-eligible) in the State of Oregon
- Experience working with a variety of eating disorder diagnoses and clients 13 years of age preferred
- Maintain appropriate licensure and registration, certifications, and continuing education requirements
- Current clear registration with Commission on Dietetics Registration
- Have knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $95,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Prelude will offer a health care benefit package including medical, dental, vision insurance and paid time off. Prelude will facilitate the Oregon Saves Retirement Plan for employees who choose to participate.
