What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Design Engineer position at Preload?
We are seeking a Design Drafter to join our growing team. This person will prepare plant and field detailed drawing packages necessary to perform all phases of fabrication and construction, including mechanical, piping, electrical, controls, foundations, components and accessories. They will work in AutoCAD and Inventor a lot. Pay is in the $33/hr to $35/hr range, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with Engineering Manager to establish project requirements.
- Prepares support documentation such as shipping lists and material summaries.
- Assists Sales department by preparing bid sketches and quantity summaries.
- Assists shop manager as needed for assembly support during fabrication.
- Keep standard background drawings current.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Drafting, or displayed experience that is equivalent.
- Must have AutoCad and Inventor Experience
