Duties
- Design and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating LMS (Learning Management System) tools and educational technology to enhance student engagement.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and needs, including differentiated instruction and instructional modifications for students with special needs or autism.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavior management techniques, and inclusive practices that promote a respectful learning environment.
- Utilize data from testing, formative assessments, and student performance to inform instruction and track academic progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development, behavior, and academic achievements through meetings, reports, and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, faculty meetings, and school-wide initiatives to ensure consistent implementation of educational standards.
- Lead extracurricular activities including physical education or individual small group and large group sessions to foster well-rounded development.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and compliance documentation in accordance with educational and state regulations.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with children across early childhood education or preschool levels Ages 3-5.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and instructional modifications tailored to individual student needs.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Familiarity with learning technology integration, and digital tools for enhancing instruction.
- Background in (some)special education or working with individuals with autism is highly desirable. (Hired Candidates will become knowledgeable/experienced by means of training)
- Prior experience in school settings or Montessori environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and faculty collaboration.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education is preferred.
- Ability to analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and support continuous improvement in student achievement.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
