Property Name: Park on Morton
Housekeeper: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and comfortable environment in assisting with overall upkeep of property common areas, vacant apartments, and communal spaces.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Dust and polish fixtures, surfaces, and furniture
- Sweep, mop, wax, and/or vacuum floors
- Remove debris and trash from all office receptacles and property trash cans, if there is not a Groundskeeper
- Wipe down doors and windows
- Examine rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management
- Clean out globes over light fixtures
- Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies for the week’s work
- Order supplies by notifying Maintenance Supervisor
- Obtain list of vacant rooms
- Turn clean, during non-transition time
- Be respectful of residents living in open bedrooms
Education/Experience:
- Prior housekeeping or similar experience helpful
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods of time;
- Ability to use hands and fingers;
- Ability to speak, see, and hear;
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull;
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds;
- Ability to walk and climb stairs;
- Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate;
