Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fountain Valley, CA for a Community Manager at Prehistoric, Inc. The Community Manager will oversee and nurture online and in-person community engagement, develop content for social media platforms, monitor brand sentiment, and respond to community inquiries. In addition, the role involves strategic event planning, coordination with team members to execute community events, and ensuring positive customer experiences through engaging communications.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, outreach, and community engagement skills to effectively connect with diverse audiences and manage online and in-person interactions.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation, including social media strategy, content scheduling, and audience growth.
- Knowledge of event planning and coordination processes to support and manage community-based events and initiatives.
- Passion for education and a love for animals, with the ability to share engaging information about reptiles and exotic wildlife.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in public relations, marketing, or community management is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred but not required.
