Primary Function
- Manage and perform patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and the direction of the Director of Nursing.
Principal Duties
- Ensure compliance and care within the scope of Care Net’s Policy and Procedures and best practices.
- Provide the service of limited obstetrical ultrasound for confirmation of pregnancy.
- Provide testing and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections
- Provide patients with health education and referrals for medical care.
- Document all patient files with ultrasound results, lab results and pertinent information.
- Participate in Community Outreach efforts.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
- Hold Active Registered Nurse License in Kentucky, BSN preferred.
- Ability to train and successfully complete limited obstetric ultrasound program under the direction of the Medical Director of Ultrasound
- Ability to remain seated and/or standing for the duration required to complete ultrasound training activities
- Ability to position and move your upper extremities as needed to perform ultrasound scanning tasks
- Ability to hold the scanning arm steady for the time required to complete ultrasound imaging tasks
- Ability to hold and control the ultrasound transducer for the duration required to complete scanning tasks
- Ability to use both hands at the same time for different ultrasound-related tasks, such as scanning with one hand while operating console controls with the other
- Ability to view ultrasound images and identify subtle differences in image contrast needed for training tasks
- Experience in a ministry capacity is preferred but not required.
- Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows based environment.

- Ability to complete required Bright Course Training.
