About the Role:
Prefix* is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most, providing essential support and care every single day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor and document changes in client health, behavior, or condition
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Transport or accompany clients to medical appointments and errands
- Administer medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or a related personal care role preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
