We are hiring for a Loadout/Chemical Operator at our plant in Monahans, TX.
Purpose of the Position:
Loadout appropriate product (in terms of quality and grade) into trucks according to their destination.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately conduct pre-shift inspections, routine equipment and area inspections; maintaining safe work environments in the working areas
- Operate equipment in a safe manner which is most efficient and reduces damage, downtime, and quality issues.
- Enter truck information, product and tonnage into the loadout software.
- Check and maintain communication with drivers and management as necessary.
- Coordinate movement of trucks on the property.
- Visually inspect inside of trucks ensuring its readiness to load and no risk of contamination.
- Load trucks to correct weight/capacity using PLC program.
- Visually confirm truck/trailer markings during the loading process.
- Ensure scale tickets are completed with the correct information.
- Maintain housekeeping around and under truck scales, silos and bucket elevator.
- Collect and/or assist QC Techs in testing sand samples for sieve analysis and corresponding documentation.
- Accurately report shift activities and tons pulled from silos on shift reports
- Conduct general PMs of all loadout equipment
- Collect process samples as directed.
- Clean mixers and handle Resin coated sand waste and chemical waste.
- Ensure proper labeling of recovered materials and waste streams.
- Change screens and cleanout of process equipment as needed.
- Grease and fuel mobile and stationary machinery as directed.
- Unload totes and drums of raw materials from incoming trucks.
- Connect/disconnect and move drums/totes of raw materials.
- Monitor process conditions and product quality based on samples and feedback from quality control to maintain the quality of the product being produced.
- Monitor the performance of process equipment and provide feedback on equipment issues.
- Perform plant maintenance as directed including assisting shift mechanic with repairs as extra set of hands.
- Commit to and support company’s quality statement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Specification (knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job):
- Previous experience loading trucks preferred.
- Previous experience operating a skid steer loader, forklift, pay-loader or other equipment preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Communication skills between co-workers, office staff and other departments in the facility.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred
- Follow safe work practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as described during training.
- Maintain a safe, neat and orderly work area.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Communicate both oral and written in the English language.
