We currently have the following pediatric nursing opportunities available: 19-year-old male patient – Lake Placid 24/7 hourly nursing care needed Currently covered: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Shifts we are hiring for: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM – Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM – Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays English and Spanish speaking nurses welcome Full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities available. Your responsibilities may include: Providing skilled nursing care according to physician's orders and the individualized plan of care G-tube feedings and care Tracheostomy and ventilator care Monitoring the patient's condition and reporting changes appropriately Maintaining safe and preventative nursing practices Completing accurate clinical and progress documentation Communicating effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team Creating a safe, compassionate and supportive environment for your patient G-tube experience is required. Pediatric experience is preferred, but we are happy to help the right nurse develop additional pediatric skills.
