Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, or Registered Physical Therapist at our facility in Sharon, CT and possible split with sister facility close by. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care. You will assess and treat patients for speech, language, swallowing, and physical or occupational therapy needs, while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Active communication with patients, families, and staff members will also be a key part of the role to promote optimal therapy outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy, Speech, and addressing Communication Disorders
- Expertise in managing Dysphagia and treating Language Disorders
- A valid and active license in Occupational Therapy (OTR), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), or Physical Therapy (RPT) in the state of Connecticut
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience or willingness to work in sub-acute and long-term care settings and willingness to split between buildings in close vicinity of each other.
- Prior clinical experience is preferred
