Preferred Quality Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist to join our growing machining team. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about precision machining and producing high-quality parts. If you have experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision-machined components.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Perform machine setups, tool changes, and make offsets as needed.
Inspect first-piece, in-process, and final parts using precision measuring equipment.
Maintain dimensional accuracy while meeting production and quality standards.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.
Monitor tooling and replace worn or damaged tools.
Complete production paperwork accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality personnel, and fellow machinists.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
Experience operating and setting up both CNC lathes and CNC mills.Experience using Mastercam to program parts.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of GD&T preferred.
Experience using precision measuring tools, including:
Micrometers
Calipers
Bore gauges
Height gauges
Indicators
Thread gauges
Ability to troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Excellent attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to safely work around industrial machinery.
