Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Fort Pierce, FL. The Occupational Therapist will assess patient needs, design tailored therapy plans, and implement treatment programs aimed at improving patient mobility, independence, and quality of life. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Occupational Therapy techniques and practices
- Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation practices
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Experience or interest in working with Pediatrics
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensing in Florida
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to improving client well-being
- Previous experience in a similar role or setting is an asset
