Production Line Operator
Preferred Powder Coating is seeking a dependable Production Line Operator to help prepare, process, and package customer parts for powder coating. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for powder coating by sanding, masking, setting up racks, and hanging parts.
- Assist with processing parts, including removing water and moving materials.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Pack finished parts for shipment.
- Read and follow process sheets, job travelers, and work instructions.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Learn and provide support in assembly, hanging, inspection, packaging, and material handling.
- Assist with training new line operators as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to work OT.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
