Registered Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is located at our day habilitation facility with the schedule of Monday-Friday 9am-3pm. We offer 16 paid holidays yearly, as well as PTO accruing day one!

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and complete accurate records of delegated nursing, use of care equipment, emergency medical forms, MARs and other medical record information
• Implement, instruct and supervise delegated nursing
• Monitor individuals' health concerns and dietary restrictions
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with the people we serve, their providers and their families
• Respond and assess medical emergencies
• Schedule, coordinate, administer and record injections and medications performed on individuals
• Assist individuals to maintain habilitation and skills
• Other responsibilities as needed

Skills

• Proven experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
• Strong knowledge of DODD protocols and practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Excellent client assessment skills with the ability to recognize critical changes in condition.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• Previous experience caring for physically and mentally disabled individuals
• State of Ohio Registered Nursing License
• American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Certified
• Train the Instructor Certification
• State of Ohio passenger vehicle drivers' license and auto insurance coverage

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
