Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of rental properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and facilities maintenance tasks. As a key contributor, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of systems, fostering a safe, efficient, and productive environment. Your leadership skills will help guide maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, electrical systems, HVAC units, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and keep in first-class condition.
- Work with owners to obtain approvals for repairs and refurbs.
- Assist with residential painting projects or facility upgrades to enhance the overall environment.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and ensure all work adheres to regulatory standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support.
- Participates in emergency call rotation for tenant requests.
- Turns in daily maintenance logs and work orders for charges to properties.
Qualifications
- Experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments with a strong mechanical knowledge base. "Jack of all trades".
- Ability to diagnosis problems and to correct/repair the problems to everyone's satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration across teams including tenants and owners.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks when required for facility upgrades or aesthetic improvements.

Pay: $21.50 - $26.00 per hour
