Role: Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
Key Duties: Supervise PTAs and support staff, bill within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT regulations, collaborate with medical personnel to create and modify treatment plans, assess adaptive equipment needs, document accurately per guidelines, and utilize medical computer systems.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), BLS certification, state-specific license, strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods.
Additional Requirements: May need additional certifications prior to start. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment and communicate effectively with team members.
