- Provide professional nursing care to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Assess patient conditions, recognize deviations, and plan and evaluate care
- Monitor patient progress and record observations
- Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and collaborate as a team member to achieve unit goals
- Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN within 5 years)
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification (BLS)
- ACLS and PALS within ninety days of employment
- Critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to delegate and work effectively in a team
- Commitment to patient-centered care
