This critical care nursing role involves providing individualized, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions according to established standards and policies.
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial conditions continuously and document findings.
- Develop, communicate, and document personalized care plans incorporating feedback from patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Apply critical thinking to execute medical plans, perform procedures, and anticipate changes in patient status.
- Evaluate patient responses and progress toward goals, adjusting care as needed.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and exposure control plans.
- Participate in staff training, foster teamwork, and demonstrate professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
- Must have a nursing degree, 1-3 years of critical care experience, valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, with CCRN preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills required; physical demands include lifting and prolonged sitting.
