Job Summary
Role: Facility Registered Nurse (RN) in a Pediatric Day Health Center
Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized nursing care, oversee clinical operations, supervise LPNs and support staff, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and educate families of medically complex children. Perform assessments, develop care plans, monitor patient progress, implement physician orders, and respond confidently to emergencies. Participate in team meetings, train new staff, and advocate for patient needs.
Qualifications & Skills: Active RN license, current BLS certification, negative TB test, clear criminal background, and experience with pediatric complex care (ventilators, trachs, G-tubes, IVs, oxygen, feeds). Must be organized, calm under pressure, a strong communicator, and a natural leader.
Physical & Clinical Environment: Active, hands-on role involving lifting, moving children, monitoring medical equipment, and responding to emergencies in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
