We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility located on Jeff Hwy in New Orleans, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures by providing clear instructions and support.
- Verify patient identification and obtain relevant medical history prior to scans.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including radiation safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for each scan, adjusting equipment as needed.
- Monitor image quality and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal results.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure proper documentation.
