Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Associate to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive quality audits and inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify deviations from quality standards
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions using established quality systems
- Assist in developing and updating QA/QC documentation, including checklists, reports, and process documentation
- Collect relevant data during inspections for analysis purposes and support root cause investigations
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively
- Support manufacturing teams in implementing process improvements aimed at enhancing product quality
- Participate in regular review meetings to discuss quality metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality management, quality assurance, or quality control within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality systems, QA/QC procedures, and industry standards
- Experience conducting quality audits and performing detailed quality inspections
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes
- Proficiency in data collection tools and software related to quality management systems
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating across departments
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with quality inspection techniques is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
