Responsibilities
- Assess and develop treatment plans to strengthen lung volume and capacity so that patients may return home at their strongest.
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized care plans to improve patients' lung function and overall health
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including oxygen therapy devices, and nebulizers
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in rounds with the healthcare team to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improving patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote self-management and empowerment

Requirements
- Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Active licensure in the state of Michigan
