Adira Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team. The right candidate will enjoying working with the elderly in the restoration and enhancement of independent function to maximizes independence and work towards return to home or most appropriate level of care achievable.
Our Gym is HUGE, the rooms are all private and the team has so much fun together. We are in house so there is no outside pressure, we understand the business of therapy and hold ourself to standards for the patients and business. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provides treatment which meets needs and uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with the Facility clinical procedures.
- Treats patients under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, communicates with families, physicians and other interdisciplinary team members, and documents services in the medical record.
- Provides accurate, complete, and clear documentation.
- Consistently demonstrate the Facility’s interdisciplinary approach to resident/patient care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Educational Requirements
- Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license for the State of Michigan
