Responsibilities
- Observing Residents
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of a Resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc.
- Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
- Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
- Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy
- Transporting Residents within the Facility
- Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
- Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
- Previous experience in inpatient settings or long-term care preferred.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology is essential.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
