Preferred Care at Home of Wyoming Valley is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support in our facilities. The ideal candidate will be professional, patient, caring, and flexible. He/She will be able to work autonomously and identify any gaps in the quality of our care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities
• Guide patients with their care to ensure it is complete
• Dispense medication and administer injections
• Assist patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, eating etc.
• Assist patients with sports or other activities of day-to-day life
• Perform housekeeping tasks that do not require physical effort
• Keep the facility clean
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Actively seek out patients in the facilities to see if they need anything or need to see anything else.

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver (at least 1 year)
• Ability to act independently and responsibly
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Current driver's license and insurance
• Knowledge of basic first aid/CPR/First Aid training.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cleaning materials.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
