Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is actively seeking Caregivers in the Kingsport, TN area. Our office serves Kingsport and surrounding Tri-Cities areas. Preferred Care at Home has been in business since 1984 and is a Nationwide Company. We are non-medical, providing in-home care and excel in treating our clients with Dignity and Respect.
As a caregiver, you will be caring for the elderly, vulnerable, disabled, and most often those that cannot take care of themselves.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADL's) as specified in the client's care plan created during in-take. Those activities may include but are not limited to:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Other personal hygiene
- Light housekeeping
- Meal prepping/grocery shopping
- Laundry
- Medication reminders
- Fall prevention
- Companionship
- Errands
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in care-giving is preferred, not required
