Preferred Care at Home of Coastal Volusia is looking for compassionate and dedicated CNAs and HHAs to join our team in the Deland area. Description of the Role: As a CNA/HHA, you will assist clients with their daily living activities, monitor vital signs, prepare and serve meals tailored to dietary requirements, and offer companionship along with emotional support. This position demands strong communication skills, the ability to adhere to instructions, and dependable transportation with a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide assistance with ambulation and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervisor
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Requirements:
- Certification as a CNA or HHA
- Valid CPR (American Heart Association affiliated) or BLS

- Prior experience in a home care setting preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
- Valid driver's license and ability to transport clients
