Preferred Capital Securities (“PCS”) is looking for an Operations Associate to join our broker-dealer in Atlanta, GA. Preferred Capital Securities is currently distributing multiple alternative investments to the Independent Broker/Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) channels. The Operations Associate will deliver customized operational service solutions for our investors and advisors. This position in our company’s Operations and Investors Services Department and will be responsible for handling investor inquiries and assisting with the needs of the financial advisors and broker dealers that the company maintains selling relationships with in addition to servicing PCS sales representatives. This position will also assist with handling incoming trade documentation, notification of trade orders that might not be in good processing order, and coordinating with our transfer agents after each closing,
The primary objectives include:
- Act as main contact for investors and financial advisors via email and telephone correspondence
- Provide knowledgeable, thoughtful, and accurate information confidently to the investor and financial advisors
- Provide exceptional customer service to investors, financial advisors, and PCS sales representatives. Maintain and strengthen new and existing relationships with investors, advisors, other authorized parties and external service providers
- Input and log information into the firm's CRM (SalesForce)
- Process investor subscription and redemption/conversion activity in accordance with the offering documents
- Communicate pending transactions to financial advisors as required
- Prepare distribution of investor statements, letters and miscellaneous documents in accordance with investor and financial advisor instructions
- Comply with department policies and procedures for processing of above activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned by department management
- Participate in system and process enhancement
