What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Assistant position at Preferred Bank?
The Loan Assistant is responsible for supporting the lending department in the day-to-day duties by performing a variety of centralized services pertaining to the boarding and servicing of commercial loans.
- Assists the team in preparing and/or reviews loan documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Follows up on insurance and other open documentation issues
- Processing paid loans and preparing demands
- Preparing internal loan file memorandums
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in bank operations, lending, or loan operations preferred.
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
- Proven customer support experience
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
