What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Night Audit position at Preeminent Hotels Inc?
We are seeking experienced Part Time Night Auditor to be the smiling face at the front desk as our guests arrive and/or depart. You will be responsible for making reservations, greeting guests, ensuring accurate posting of the day's room charges, closing out business day, reconciling credit cards, maintaining a clean and friendly environment in the lobby and public areas, gathering proper payment and documents at check in, recommending restaurants, points of interest, or travel routes to their next destination, and ensuring they want to tell everyone about us! . Other miscellaneous duties will included but not limited to assisting the sales department with clerical duties, assist the meeting room attendant, tend to a small meeting or event, clean public restrooms, restock gift shop next to front desk, and many more fun tasks!
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS!
Job Requirements
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
- Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
- Well-versed in taking telephone calls and multi-tasking
- Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
- Previous Hotel Experience preferred but not required
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times.
- Have a "Can Do" attitude
- Professional and clean appearance
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Must be able to arrive to work prompt and ready prior to your shift.
- Basic computer skills
- Basic understanding of accounting
- High school diploma required
