What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate/Property Management position at Predictable Property LLC?
Job Summary
You will be participating in the active operations of a real estate and property management company in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn but also to participate directly in real estate. Ideal candidates include those who excel at customer service, sales, being friendly, having decent-to-great typing speeds, etc.
Your roles will include everything from answering apartment inquiries to scheduling work orders, reviewing and approving rental applications, and other day-to-day office administration duties, the vast majority of which all involve real estate.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties.
- Oversee tenant relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
- Utilize property management software, Buildium.
- Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards. (This may or may not be a role but is mentioned here.)
- Interact directly with prospective tenants, converting apartment inquiries into appointments scheduled and thereafter, appointments scheduled into rental applications
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and upsell available units or services.
Requirements
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, ideally including decent-to-great words per minute on typing
- Friendly personality
- Attention to detail
Notably, you will see that many of the traditional requirements for this position have been removed - we do NOT require a degree in real estate or business nor any pre-existing experience in real estate - in large part because we do not believe that it is absolutely necessary to doing an excellent job in marketing apartments. We think that being friendly and locking in leads, etc., are far more important - which means that this position is open to a large array of people, including those interested in possibly one day becoming Realtors, etc. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop experience in property management, real estate, and contracting/construction trade oversight.
