Description
- This role is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing tools & dies in support of our progressive and secondary stamping presses. The position collaborates closely with design engineers.

Design, Build, Assemble, And Troubleshoot
- Set up and operate all tool room equipment: surface grinders, heat treat ovens, hone, polishing, jig bore, etc.
- Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to meet print criteria using precision measuring instruments such as optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
- Perform all work necessary to assure that parts produced will meet the drawing specifications and pass internal inspection.
- Performs other duties as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area at all times.

- 2 years’ experience with tool and die fabrication, preferably with metal stamping company.
- Preferred knowledge of coining metals, nickel alloy behavior, deep draw, and transfer press techniques.
- Basic math & trigonometry.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T.
