What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner Scheduler position at Precision?
SCOPE: Schedule customer orders in production to ensure timely delivery. Manage inventory to support production schedules.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Order Management
date orders generating customer acknowledgements in Brain
plan/schedule orders in Brain and Intranet
manage change orders in Brain and Intranet
coordinate customer production trials with production floor
manage all intranet schedules/priorities for the purpose of communicating with Customer Service/Production Floor
Inventory/Shortage Management
notify purchasing of material shortages
material release to outside warehouses
coordinate movement of material between warehouses/other manufacturing facilities
Part Number Management
complete planning screens in Brain for new specs
coordinate use ups/replacement parts through production work orders
manage planning screens in Brain for existing item masters
Export Orders
schedule and track export orders
Project Work
consignment inventory
other materials management as required
any other special projects as required

Education & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of associate degree and 5 years experience.
