Duties
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and check-engine-light issues
- Perform brake inspections, repairs, and replacements
- Repair and install muffler, exhaust, and catalytic converter systems
- Complete oil changes, tune-ups, and scheduled maintenance
- Service engines, transmissions, cooling systems, and drivetrains
- Repair steering, suspension, shocks, struts, and front-end components
- Perform air-conditioning diagnostics, recharging, and repairs
- Complete tire repairs, wheel balancing, and alignments
- Diagnose emissions-related problems and complete required repairs
- Install performance parts, including headers, coilovers, downpipes, cold-air intakes, and exhaust kits
- Inspect completed work to ensure safety, reliability, and quality
Skills
- At least three years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, and light-duty vehicles
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable, professional, and focused on customer satisfaction
- Must have personal tools appropriate for the position
