Position Summary

Precision Tune Auto Center - EL Cajon is seeking a skilled Smog Technician to join our team in El Cajon, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing vehicle emissions inspections and ensuring compliance with state environmental regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform smog inspections on a variety of vehicles in accordance with state and local regulations.
• Diagnose vehicle emissions issues and communicate findings to customers clearly and professionally.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain organized records.
• Work collaboratively with service technicians and staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and maintain certification as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Current valid Smog Technician certification for the State of California.
• Experience in vehicle emissions testing and diagnostics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
