Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Utilize advanced tools including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)/Romer arm to perform detailed dimensional analysis and ensure component accuracy.
- First piece inspection, in process inspection and final inspection.
- Review manufacturing processes for compliance with ISO 9001.
- Perform regular quality audits across production lines to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality management systems.
- Collect, analyze, and document data related to product quality, inspection results, and process performance for continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances promptly and implement corrective actions aligned with quality assurance protocols.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or heavy equipment sector
- Familiarity with calibration and use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality audit procedures.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or deviations.
- Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly.
