Job Title: RRT – NICU
Location: Worcester, MA
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 – 07:15)
Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend coverage
Start Date: 04/20/2026
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of acute care/trauma experience
Previous NICU experience required
Experience in critical care and acute care hospital settings
Ability to work in a Level 1 trauma center with high acuity patients
Certifications:
Active RRT MA license
BLS
NRP (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU
Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transports
Perform airway management, suctioning, intubation assist, and ventilator management
Administer medications including inhaled therapies and perform pulmonary hygiene
Interpret arterial blood gases and assist with high-frequency ventilators and CPAP/BiPAP
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient care
Maintain a safe environment and respond to respiratory emergencies
