Job Description
We are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our RIS2.0 and work with our Engineering, Product, Support, and Customer Success teams and have the responsibility to keep our platform and services working at full steam. For this role, you’ll need to have a good knowledge of how each team works and how they interact with one another.
Skills & Responsibilities
- Able to identify business risks & contribute to user story definition.
- Experience in defining and reviewing Test Cases & Plans.
- Experience in Device capability testing (WiFi Strength, Bluetooth etc.). Ability to come up with tools to simplify the testing effort for future hardware.
- Prior experience with Mobile app automation (Android Preferred), Device Performance testing and Profiling for the applications.
- Experience with load testing the APIs
- Creativity and thinking out-of-the-box as this project heart of store technology.
- Experience in writing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience and in-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages (ex: JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.).
- Experience with one or more test tools & frameworks (ex: Selenium Web driver, cypress, Karate, JMeter, etc.).
- Team player mentality, actively cooperating with both engineering and non-engineering colleagues.
- QA Mindset: We build stuff together, then break it and love doing it.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar area of study.
- Experience working in SCRUM environments.
- Practical experience with web testing or development.
- Experience with TDD, BDD / Gherkin.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in QA automation
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Mongo DB, Node JS and AWS (Lambda, Step functions and cloud watch)
- Knowledge or experience with pipelines, Jenkins, and CI / CD processes.
