Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QA Test Lead with strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading QA activities, coordinating with business stakeholders, and driving an offshore testing team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Domain Knowledge:
- Experience in the Oil & Gas domain, particularly in upstream operations, is a plus but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across the project.
- Perform hands-on manual and automation testing as needed.
- Coordinate with business teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and test expectations.
- Drive and mentor the offshore QA team, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks as per client requirements.
- Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts) for automation tools and frameworks.
- Work with GitHub for source control and set up GitHub Actions for test automation execution.
- Review test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and execution results.
- Identify risks, issues, and gaps early and proactively suggest solutions.
- Ensure QA best practices, standards, and processes are followed.
Must Have:
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing.
- Good understanding of testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience in test automation framework development.
- Ability to configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working with offshore/onshore teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and adaptable.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to API testing.
- Experience in test estimation and planning.
