Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Municipal Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal infrastructure and site development projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management capability, and client relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and direct the design and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects including water, sewer, stormwater, roadway, site development, and parks/recreation • Lead preparation of basis of design reports, feasibility studies, preliminary and final engineering design documents • Develop construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates • Serve as primary client liaison including scope development, contract negotiation, and presentations • Manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery • Coordinate with subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and permitting requirements • Perform QA/QC on design deliverables ensuring technical accuracy and constructability • Mentor and supervise junior engineers, EITs, and CAD staff • Participate in business development, proposals, and client presentations
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering • Arizona PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months • Minimum 8 years civil engineering experience with
3 years in project management • Experience with municipal
3 infrastructure
(water, sewer, stormwater, roadway) • Proficiency in Civil3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD • Strong knowledge of municipal codes, MAG standards, and permitting • Ability to manage multiple projects including budgets and schedules
