Every day as an EHS Manager, you will...
- Lead and mentor associates through collaboration and influence, without direct reports
- Collaborate across Precision Strip to develop safety-related items that prevent and protect associates
- Partner with associates on hazard identification and mitigation
- Ensure compliance and implementation of safety regulations and procedures
- Coach, train, and assist the plants in developing corrective actions and solving problems
- Investigate safety issues to identify root causes, and ensure issues are addressed and resolved
- Ensure safety policies are effectively communicated and associates receive effective training
- Conduct compliance audits to recognize performance and identify areas of improvement
- Develop recommendations to strengthen our safety management system
- Lead proactive safety behavior culture change
- Lead moderately complex technical items and situations
- Support other projects as needed
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Balance daily priorities and the achievement of long-term strategic goals
- Develop strong, personal relationships with associates
- Support others to accomplish goals
- Look for ways to continuously improve our processes.

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
- At least 5-7 years of experience working in a safety-related position
- ASP/CSP Preferred
