Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team at H&H Custom Woodworks.
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining the production
schedule for custom cabinet manufacturing. This role ensures that jobs flow efficiently
from order entry through production and delivery, balancing customer deadlines, shop
capacity, materials availability, and labor resources. The Scheduler works closely with
sales, operations, purchasing, and shop leadership to meet delivery commitments while
optimizing workflow and minimizing bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Planning
Create, maintain, and adjust the master production schedule for custom cabinet
orders
Sequence jobs based on priority, lead times, capacity, and customer delivery
dates against our in house process for getting orders to production to be
scheduled.
Coordinate scheduling across departments
Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and bottlenecks
Cross-Department Coordination
Communicate schedule status and changes clearly to production teams, sales,
and project managers
Collaborate with purchasing to ensure materials and components are available
when needed
Work with operations to account for drawing approvals, revisions, and change
orders
Order & Workflow Management
Monitor job progress and adjust schedules in response to delays, rework, or
material shortages
Track key milestones and ensure on-time completion of orders
Maintain accurate scheduling data in our software
Ensure production priorities align with business goals and customer
commitments
Qualifications
Preferred
Experience in custom cabinet, millwork, or furniture manufacturing
Knowledge of cabinet making, finishing, and assembly processes

Pay: $44, $48,000.00 per year
