A dynamic outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy clinic is looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, as well as leading front desk operations.
These operations include answering phones, making appointments, collecting office fees, verifying insurance benefits, managing authorizations, and communicating all of the above in a professional and compassionate manner to patients. A knowledge and understanding of health insurance benefits is a must. Your core skills in clerical tasks, computer literacy, and organizational abilities will ensure smooth daily operations. Hours include at least two afternoon/evening shifts per week.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical front desk or physical therapy office is HELPFUL
- Experience with WebPT EMR system is a plus
- Understanding of medical billing is a plus
- Detail-oriented, reliable, resourceful, and a team player
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency and comfort using electronic medical records
