Associate Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high standards of patient comfort, safety, and treatment efficacy. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews.
• Diagnose dental issues using clinical evaluation and medical imaging tools.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Perform general dentistry procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
• Carry out specialized treatments including oral surgery, endodontics, and dental fabrication when necessary.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment care instructions.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.

Skills

• Proficiency with dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics is preferred.
• Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
• Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently for optimal patient experience.
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and proper handling of medical records and documentation.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment options. Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
