Precision Scraping & Alignment is a Machine Tool Rebuilder and Service Provider that has been doing business since 1986. We are recognized for excellence in cost effective machine tool rebuilding and servicing across the USA. We are a small company that takes pride in our work and our employees. Due to continual company growth, we are seeking a Machine Tool Service Technician to join our team! You will learn the specialized skill of scraping bearing material as well as maintain and repair industrial machinery such as lathes, grinders, turning centers, etc at our shop in Kaukauna and on-site at customer locations.
Our Building is Air Conditioned with Brand New LED Lighting!
Responsibilities:
- Level & Align/Preventative Maintenance on Machine Tools at Customer Locations
- Repair/Rebuild Machine Tools at our Facility and/or Customer Location
- Learn to put patterns into bearing material for Machine Tools
- Troubleshoot and Repair Machine Issues per Customer Requests
- Read and Understand Mechanical and Electrical Schematics to ID Needed Parts, Troubleshooting, Etc
- Adhere to all Safety Policies and Procedures
Must Have Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License and Good Driving Record in order to be insurable to drive Company Vehicles
- Good Attendance, Timely Arrival for Your Shift
- A "Can-Do" Attitude with the ability to work independently or part of a team
- A Desire to Learn about Machine Tools
Beneficial Qualifications:
- Ability to Read and Understand Blue Prints
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Troubleshooting Skills
- Familiarity with Industrial Tools and Equipment
Hours/Locations:
- Monday through Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm, Friday 6am - 3:30pm.
- 49 hour Work Week, Overtime Paid after 40 Hours
- Each days work starts at Precision Scraping in Kaukauna. Company vehicles are used to travel to work location.
- Saturday work as needed to meet customer needs.
- Some work requires an overnight stay. Less than 10% of the work is overnight, on location.

Pay negotiable; based on experience with a skills/pay re-evaluation after 90 days.
