We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cable Harness Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise fabrication and assembly of cable harnesses and related electronic/mechanical assemblies, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in accordance with industry specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild high-quality cable harnesses according to wiring diagrams, form boards, and technical schematics.Perform a range of assembly tasks including soldering, crimping, plugging contacts into connectors, and torquing backshells.Execute all work to meet rigorous Class 3 IPC standards for electronic assemblies.Follow written instructions from engineering and interpret detailed drawing schematics independently.Perform continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.Conduct quality inspections to ensure all products meet specified quality requirements.Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic/mechanical assemblies (modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames).Utilize hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws to make initial layouts and complete assemblies.May assist with disassembly, modification, rework, reassembly, and testing of experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions.Required Qualifications & SkillsMinimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in cable/harness building.Proven experience working to IPC standards (Class 3 preferred).Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings.Hands-on expertise in soldering, crimping, and other precision assembly techniques.Ability to use standard hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.Experience performing basic continuity checks and quality inspections.Preferred QualificationsIPC-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification.Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.Familiarity with prototype assembly and rework processes.Company DescriptionPrecision Resources Co., Inc.
