About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and cleanliness of our plant and office facilities. Your work will directly support our mission-critical operations through routine maintenance, repairs, and a wide range of general facilities duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe and functional work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine repairs, maintenance, and inspections of plant and office facilities and equipment.Execute basic carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.Troubleshoot equipment or facilities issues and report findings to the supervisor.Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance programs.Conduct general facilities upkeep, including trash removal and custodial tasks as needed.Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.Complete a wide range of assigned duties to support facility operations.Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.Basic QualificationsClearance: Must possess an active Interim or Final U.S. Secret Security Clearance at time of application.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience.Minimum of 2 years of facilities operations experience.Minimum of 2 years of general building maintenance experience (carpentry, painting, repairs, etc.).Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working on feet for extended periods. Must be able to wear steel-toe safety shoes (provided by employee).Must be able to work one of the schedules belowSchedule A: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AMSchedule B: Tuesday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AMPreferred QualificationsExperience in an industrial, manufacturing, or government-contractor environment.Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.Formal training or certification in a maintenance trade.Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude.Company DescriptionPrecision Resources Co., Inc.
