We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various cutting and machining equipment to produce precise components and materials according to specifications. Responsibilities
- Operate saws, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC programming tools, and other industrial equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts, hand tools, and materials handling equipment while adhering to safety standards in production.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments to verify part dimensions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
Skills
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, GD&T principles, and precision measurement techniques..
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for fabrication and assembly tasks within manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including materials handling, packaging, and inventory management.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills necessary for precise machining tasks.
