Description:
Precision Prep is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Elementary Teacher to support students in grades 4–5 across all core subjects through fully in-person instruction. This role is ideal for an educator who values small class environments, personalized learning, and building strong relationships with students, while fostering both academic growth and overall development in a structured, engaging classroom setting.
Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and organize the learning environment
- Deliver in-person instruction across all core subjects (reading, writing, math, science, and social studies)
- Plan and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons that meet diverse learning needs
- Differentiate instruction to support individual student growth and achievement
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction based on data
- Provide small group and one-on-one support to reinforce skills and close learning gaps
- Foster a structured, positive classroom environment that promotes focus and respect
- Support development of organization, study skills, and independence
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and performance
- Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and assessments
- Integrate character development, leadership, and social-emotional learning into daily instruction
- Develop parent-community partnerships
- Encourage parent involvement through volunteer opportunities
- Maintain communication with parents on a regular basis
- Facilitate parent-teacher conferences
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to oversee the mission, vision and school values
- Attend professional development and faculty meetings
- Participate in the development of curriculum and assess its effectiveness.
- Collaborate with staff to align instruction with school goals and student needs
- Continue ongoing education and professional development
- Attend workshops, seminars and courses to enhance pedagogy and knowledge.
- Participate in collaborative coaching sessions.
- Seek professional development opportunities to increase knowledge of best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
- Experience teaching elementary students
- Valid Texas Professional Certificate
Preferred Requirements
- Masters’ Degree in content area or related field
- Gifted and Talented Certification
- ESL Certification
- Five plus years teaching experience
